  I originally chose this place because of their reviews. But now I wonder if maybe they solicited these posted reviews... Let me tell you what happened (Hopefully the owner is reading this).
  Less than a month ago, one of my employee's truck broke down not far from Colbath Automotive Services. I read the reviews and we decided to meet with Ivan, a mechanic. Ivan had our truck towed to the shop and we discussed the problems at hand. I made it SUPER clear to Ivan that I needed the solution to this problem, that our vehicle had issues and I needed it running without issues. Ivan and I discussed his observations and strategy to repair our truck a couple times. I wanted to make sure that I understood what he was doing. Ivan explained that the problem was that the battery terminals were defective and needed to be replaced along with new batteries. He told me that once that was done the Truck would operate and run for awhile but to expect additional problems with other systems to the truck in the future. I approved the aforementioned repairs. Where he charged me in excess of $400. Well guess what... The truck broke down today, less than a month later! And better yet, it broke down because the batteries are dead, AGAIN! So Ivan did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! What ever he did mechanically certainly looked good but served NO PURPOSE and DID NOT fix the problem. I called and spoke with Ivan where he engaged in finger pointing, the "not my fault" game, and a few other dodges of responsibility. As it turns out, he finally agreed to come to where we were broken down and tow our truck to his shop for additional repairs. After waiting for approximately one hour, one of my guys walked to the shop and found Ivan. Ivan told him that he wouldn't help us considering the circumstances and didn't really want to mess with it again.
  Now imagine if this was you... That this happened to you... Unacceptable!
  To the owners of David Colbath Automotive Services- I own a small business. This is BAD. I was even willing, after all that, to trust Ivan to re-diagnose the problem. It's adding insult to injury and simply dishonest!
