  I am a regular and, usually, devoted fan of this place. I'm acquainted with so many team-members, and it's always a pleasure to see their smiling faces. It's the closest McD to Ft Sam Houston, so it's always busy inside and at the drive-thru. Today, however, was absurd. I went inside and waited a good five minutes just to order. One team-member at the registers is probably not the best staffing level for noon on a Saturday. Twenty minutes later - after 5 people that ordered after me got their food - I finally got my meal. They were waiting for a Quarter Pounder. Despite the fact that they waited, and it was allegedly fresh off the grill - it was cold and tasteless and the cheese wasn't even melted. Apologies and an apple pie were offered, but I'd rather have a hot burger quickly than words and "real good" apples.
