  I, like many of my friends, bought our home in San Antonio during the housing boom and, being military, we were prepared to leave our home in the hands of a property manager. Sadly, our first property manager was disastrous. Without living in Texas, we relied totally on our property manager and we lost close to 10,000 dollars from the home being vacant, missing contractor work and damages. This came just a few months before our move overseas and we were desperate to get the house back on the market.
  
  I called Lorena at Birdy Properties and she and the entire team came to the rescue. Mind you, I still lived on the other side of the country at this point but Birdy Properties took care of everything quickly and remotely. I put all my trust into them and for 3 years the house was in their care, it has never been empty and I receive quarterly picture updates of my home with maintenance suggestions.
  
  Now, it's time for me to list my home for sale and to say Goodbye to Birdy Properties. I am so happy with the promptness at which Birdy responded to my messages and with their assistance in closing our account. They have given me advice, tenant updates, spoken with my realtor and are working hard to make sure everything is ready in time.
